THE TRAIL PACK
Addiction Recovery Resources
Stuff That’s Helped Me Stay Alive, Awake, and Sane
Recovery doesn’t come from one book, one program, or one loud voice yelling certainty.
Instead, it comes from patterns, stories, hard truths, and tools that actually get used.
These are the addiction recovery resources I’m learning from, leaning on, and questioning along the way.
No sponsors. No kickbacks. No spiritual sales pitches.
Just resources that have earned a spot in my pack.

HIGHLIGHTED READ
EcoRecovery
Using Nature to Overcome Addiction and Achieve Lasting Recovery
This book caught my attention because it doesn’t try to replace addiction with another belief system.
Instead, EcoRecovery explores something at the heart of Trailblazers Unite: what happens when recovery includes reconnecting with the natural world?
Not nature as a god. Not nature as some magical cure.
Rather, nature becomes a place to slow down, reconnect, pay attention, and remember that life keeps moving even when we feel stuck.
That perspective is why EcoRecovery currently has the top spot in my trail pack.
“Real addiction recovery resources aren’t found in one book or one belief. It’s built by paying attention to what actually keeps you alive.”
CURRENTLY IN THE PACK
BOOKS I’M CURRENTLY READING
These are the books currently riding around in my recovery pack. Some are changing how I think, while others are simply giving me something worth wrestling with.

Living Clean: The Journey Continues explores what happens after getting clean, when recovery becomes less about surviving and more about actually living. It digs into relationships, identity, connection, and building a life worth staying present for.

Natural Rest for Addiction has me exploring how stress and trauma can fuel addiction cycles. I’m learning how rest, regulation, and reconnection can become recovery tools.

Stories from the Field is giving me a raw look at how others navigate recovery beyond meetings and slogans. I’m finding reminders that recovery is something we practice, not just believe.

Narcotics Anonymous

Shatterproof

THE TRAIL KEEPS MOVING
THIS PACK IS NEVER FINISHED
Recovery keeps changing, and so do the things that help me navigate it.
As I discover new books, websites, tools, voices, and ideas worth carrying, I’ll add them here.
Some resources may eventually disappear, too. What helps today doesn’t automatically earn a permanent spot tomorrow.
This isn’t a definitive recovery library. It’s the trail I’m walking and the shit I’m finding useful along the way.
KEEP FUCKING CLIMBING
TAKE WHAT HELPS. LEAVE THE REST.
None of these resources has every answer.
Neither do I.
Take what helps. Question what doesn’t. Then keep building a recovery that gives you a life worth sticking around for.
We don’t fix people. We walk with them.
